Welcome! I’m Terry Frederick—a nature lover, woodcarver, and painter with a laid-back spirit. My journey into art started young, when polio kept me homebound and I found comfort in drawing and painting. Later, a life-changing operation set me free to explore the outdoors, and I’ve been chasing creeks, wildlife, and inspiration ever since.
Growing up on a lake with three creeks running into it, I learned to appreciate the quiet beauty of nature. My art is a reflection of those days—fishing, hunting, and soaking up the world outside. Whether I’m carving a tiny bird or painting a wild landscape, I aim to bring a bit of that peace and wonder into your home.

I do accept commissions (custom art) - Do you have a favorite photo of your pet, a special place you like to go. We all have something like this and I can do it for you, in most cases. If I can't I will let you know. to see samples of custom artwork click here.
There are some limitations; First and foremost does the project fall within the type of art I actually do; just because I or any artist has artistic talent doesn't mean I am able to create every type of subject. Time is also a factor; sometimes I simply do not have the time to fulfill a commission due to pre existing obligations, or the proposed project limited time frame. Lastly I reserve the right to refuse all commissions should the request, due to it's content or intended usage, be unreasonable.
