Age 92, died September 6, 2008 at Panorama Nursing Home in Lacey, surrounded by family. She was born August 23, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan to Albert and Ernestina Thomson. She married Harold R. Frederick in California on December 22, 1944. As a small child, Louise had the adventure of living in China and the Philippines while her dad worked there. Always an adventurer, Louise traveled with her husband Harold (Potsy) while he was in the Air Force from California to Montana, Tacoma, Spokane, San Francisco, Guam, Hawaii, Maine, and back to Tacoma, finally settling in Lacey at their retreat on Lake St. Clair. Louise loved traveling and RV-ing during their regular trips to Arizona, California, Montana, or the beach; and visiting and keeping in touch with friends and family. Her laugh and smile will always be remembered as well as her enjoyment of hosting family and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her brothers Leon and Leonard, and her daughter, Doreen. She is survived by her husband, Harold, her son, Terry, 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Louise"s remains will be interred at Forest Cemetery. A Memorial service conducted by family will be held at 2pm, Thursday, October 2nd at the Forest Funeral Home Chapel, 2501 Pacific Ave. SE, Olympia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
